Lilly Counseling Grant
South Putnam Community School Corporation was one of the recipients of the second round of the Lilly Counseling Grant. South Putnam is using the total $112,000 award over four years to fund programs and tools to improve student college and career readiness, provide after-school tutoring, and bring in additional anti-bullying curriculum. The grant also makes possible a Community Liaison to coordinate with local buisness leaders to help secure student internships and job experiences. Additionally, a Future Focused Coordinator, also funded through the grant, will work with students to build employability skills through project-based, work-based and service-based experiences.
