2023 - 2024 Registration Information

To register a RETURNING STUDENT to South Putnam Community School Corporation:

Online Registration:
Online registration will begin Monday, July 24, 2023.  An instruction sheet is linked 
here.  Parents/guardians of returning students may register online using the Harmony online tool on any computer or internet-capable digital device. All mandatory state and corporation forms are included in the online registration and must be completed. Online registration must be completed by 3:00 pm on Friday, August 4th. In-Person Registration Dates:
Parent/guardians of returning students in the corporation needing help or access to a computer can register during one of the following times; it does not matter which school within South Putnam District the child will be attending:

Central Elementary:
Monday, July 31st from 12:00 pm to 7:00 pm 
Tuesday, August 1st from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm (closed for lunch from 11:30 - 12:30)

Fillmore Elementary:
Monday, July 31st from 12:00 pm to 7:00 pm
Tuesday, August 1st from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm (closed for lunch from 11:30 - 12:30)

South Putnam Middle School-High School
Monday, July 31st from 12:00 pm to 7:00 pm
Tuesday, August 1st from 8:00 am - 3:00 pm (closed for lunch from 11:30 - 12:30)

To register a NEW STUDENT to the South Putnam Community School Corporation:
Students new to the corporation must go to one of the in-person registration dates listed above of the school they will be attending.  Please bring the student's birth certificate and immunization card. In addition, proof of residency must be presented when enrolling. Acceptable documents are: utility bill, telephone bill, medical bill or bank statement.


Students new to the corporation who are entering middle school and high school must call South  Putnam Middle School-High School at 765.653.3148 to schedule an appointment to register. Prior to registration, new middle and high school students must complete an Intent to Enroll/Request for Transfer.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

  • Parents should make every effort to register during the registration days. If this is not possible, contact your student's school to make arrangements.

  • Returning students who have moved must present proof of residency. Acceptable documents include: utility bill, telephone bill, medical bill or bank statement.

  • For parents who may qualify for free and reduced lunches, applications are available under the food services menu.  Go to the South Putnam School Corporation website>Departments>Food Services and the Free and Reduced Application for the current year is listed as well as the instruction form.  Applications can be printed off our website, or you may pick one up at the Middle-High School Main Office.

  • All students have the option to enroll in the One2One damage waiver program. Enrolling in this optional program will reduce the cost to repair/replace your students device/charger in the event of accidental damage. If you choose not to enroll in this program, you will be responsible for 100% of the total cost to repair/replace your student's device/charger. Once on the One2One site, click "Enroll My Device."

  • Middle school or high school students with schedule conflicts or questions should contact the Middle-High School Main Office at 765.653.3148 to talk to a guidance counselor, or email Mr. Gardner at bgardner@sputnam.k12.in.us.

  • Student drivers may obtain a $5.00 parking space permit once registration is completed. Parking permits must be picked up from the South Putnam Middle-High School Main Office.
