Happy Principal Appreciation Day to our amazing South Putnam Principals! We appreciate everything you do for our students and staff!

For the second year, all 2nd grade students were invited to attend the Outdoor Experience at DePauw. Our students took two short hikes to experience sounds and sights in nature. One hike was blindfolded, which made the students rely on their other senses. South Putnam students were leaders in the activities. It was a fun day for all!

🚌 Happy School Bus Driver Appreciation Day! 💙
Today, we celebrate the dedicated team of bus drivers at South Putnam Community School Corporation—the everyday heroes who ensure our Eagles get to and from school safely, with a smile.
From early mornings to all-weather driving, they go the extra mile—literally and figuratively—to support our students. Their patience, kindness, and professionalism set the tone for a positive school day and make them an essential part of our school family.
👏 Thank you, South Putnam bus drivers, for all you do! You represent the best of our school spirit, safety, and service.

Central Elementary STEAM Night

Our Student Council sponsored our annual Staff vs. Students Dodgeball Game. With the ticket sales, we were able to donate $857.25 to Isaiah 117 House.

Last week we concluded our Kids Heart Challenge for the American Heart Association. Central Elementary students raised $3,057.95! Our top three fundraisers were: Annabelle B., Charlie C., and Nova H. Our winning class was Mrs. L Minor and our winning grade level was First Grade. Thank you so much to everyone who donated money to a worthy cause.

Central Elementary is hosting a STEM/Art/Choir night Tuesday, March 4th from 5-6. Come see what our students have been learning.
